Can someone tell me where December has gone? I can’t believe it’s already Christmas. This two under two gig is hard and tiring to say the least. And time is just slipping by as usual. I usually do a full Christmas home tour every year and a separate post with our family photos but this year I’ve been lucky if the kids are fed and we all have clean clothes to wear.
So alas, I have combined everything and this is my official Christmas home tour and family photo post all in one. I’ll admit these photos are not nearly as good as usual and some are even taken with my cell phone. But it was either this, or nothing friends. And I couldn’t let the year go without sharing anything. I didn’t put up a second tree in our bedroom like last year either, but maybe in the coming years when life isn’t so consumed with changing diapers every 15 minutes or cleaning spit up off my clothes!
My dining room is what you see on the left when you first come in our home. I haven’t shared much of this space yet, and I have big plans for it in 2018 that I hope to get to and of course share.
I used my same red table decor because I STILL love it and hope I never stop loving it.
Through our foyer on the way to the grand room is where I hung our stockings. I racked my brain for a while trying to find a good space, but we really didn’t have anywhere other than here.
And that brings me to the grand room. Again, same decor as I’ve always had, just placed in new spots in our new home 🙂
This is the foyer entrance to our bedroom.
That’s it for my home tour! Hopefully next year I’ll do a little more in other rooms and get some better photos!
And here are our family photos from a few weeks ago. With 2 under 2 it was almost impossible to get a decent shot. But my amazing photographer Courtney from Courtney Vickers Photography worked her magic again and we got some great ones!
There were a LOT like the one above. They are so imperfect but depict our chaotic life so perfectly that I love them anyway.
And I can’t forget to mention that this little chunk turned 2 months old! He is the sweetest and completes our family just perfectly.
Merry Christmas everyone! See you in 2018 with more project posts from our new house 🙂
