Christmas Tour

In the spirit of the season and that time of the year when it’s time to get out all the Holiday decorations, I figured I would share mine with you!  I spent the entire day yesterday decorating the house and the tree – I forgot how much work it was! Whew!

Unpacking all my Christmas decorations is like opening presents for me.  Every year I buy a few more Christmas decorations 50% off the day after Christmas.  So I bring them home, pack them up, and don’t get to open or use them until the following year.  And by then it’s like I forgot I had them which makes it so much fun opening all my bins each year!

Speaking of my bins, I’ll go ahead and show you how I store all my decorations.  Currently all the bins are just stacked on one another in the garage.  And although they are clearly labeled and organized, I have bigger plans for the garage and organization of these bins in general.  I don’t like that they just sit on the ground and if I want one of the bins at the bottom, I have to down stack all the bins on top of it to get to it.  Eventually I want to build a rack that keeps them off the ground and separates them.  But that’s for another day and another post.

Most things are wrapped in newspaper or bags just to help keep things from breaking.

So here’s the dining room/poker room/bar.

The chargers, the red christmas boxes, and the red and white trees are all from Target.  The glasses (as well as the ornaments inside them), the bows, the napkins, and the large ornaments inside the glass vase are all from the dollar store.  I’ve had the vase for a long time and don’t remember where that came from.  The huge table cloth is from Bed, Bath & Beyond.  The red berry sticks and the large poinsettia flowers are from Pier 1.  The white hydrangeas are from Michael’s and the white roses are from Marshall’s.

Like I mentioned before, I get ALL my decorations 50% off the day after Christmas.  I haven’t paid full price for anything.  I’d say 90% of my decorations came from Pier 1 (nearly everything except the dining table decor).  Which is why I must get them 50% off – I could never pay full price for this stuff!  I’m that girl standing in line waiting for them to open the door every December 26th with my eyes beaming through the glass door already placing claims on the things I want.

All of my Pier1 items are from the Jolly Holidays Collection.

Happy Holiday’s y’all!
