It’s pretty obvious I like decorating rooms and homes, but did you know I also like decorating for parties? Anytime I have the opportunity to make a space pretty, whatever the purpose, I’m all about it.
This weekend I had the honor of putting together a party for Miss Charli, who turned the big 3! Her mom is a good friend of mine, and when she told me she wanted the theme of the party to be pink, my inner girly girl was giddy. As some of you may know, my entire wedding was pink, so I love the color and actually had quite a bit of leftover pink wedding things.
The beautiful birthday girl!
Using a little bit of DIY, a lot of stuff I already had, and some shopping, take a look at the party decor I put together for Charli’s big day.
Chocolate sixlets with rock candy sticks in dessert glasses. The cupcake stand is something I’ve had that I got at HomeGoods.
The cupcake pull apart cake was made by Publix. I’m not a baker! 🙂
I made the tissue paper poofs hanging from the ceiling pretty easily, but they can also be bought from Party City.
The C-h-a-r-l-i pennant banner was made with my endless scrapbook supplies and my Cricut machine that cuts letters!
The shiny pink backdrop was just a couple yards of pretty fabric I found at JoAnn.
The ribbon table skirt was a DIY with just a bunch of rolls of ribbon tied in knots on a white ribbon. Very easy and gorgeous!
The pink feather vases were something my mom had leftover from throwing my bridal shower years ago. She ordered them online.
Most everyone wore pink in honor of Charli’s favorite color, which was pretty cool!
Charli and her gorgeous mama!
She is to die for!!!
The birthday girl’s dress was ordered from Etsy.
What do you think of Charli’s pink party? Comment and let me know your thoughts, I love hearing from you guys!
